Today’s Education transcends global boundaries and cultural realities. Knowledge is increasingly supreme as source of wealth at all levels of an economy. Most new jobs and wealth creation strategies are fuelled by the international competitiveness of new knowledge based industries.

Education in true sense is a continuous process of humanization through wisdom, skills & values. We need a revolution in the aims and methods of academic inquiry, developing adequate life skills and skills of profession and inculcating values that build a character of an individual.

Knowledge is about facts and ideas that we acquire through study, observation, investigation and experience whereas wisdom is the ability to discern and judge which aspects of that knowledge are true, lasting and applicable to your life. “Knowing that tomato is a fruit is knowledge. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad” knowledge is like a car engine but the ability to drive is the skill with which it has to be driven. Wisdom is what gives us confidence in driving for a right cause.

Meta Cognition is knowledge about cognition and its control. We at Prodigy Vidyalay encourages our students to adopt Meta cognition skills so that they can substantially improve their academic performance.

Owing to the information invasion, the knowledge is changing so rapidly that the concept of latest is disappearing as today’s latest is becoming obsolete tomorrow. Students are becoming app based and cloud based learners. There are about Lacks of web links today. ICT (Information & Communication Technology) is growing in a mind blowing way. Thereby the focus of future schools is not about acquisition of knowledge; rather it’s all about the discovery and the construction of new knowledge.

This is possible by implementing ingenious teaching and learning practices that encourage thinking culture in students, where inter disciplinary and multi disciplinary thinking happens.

Research proved that it is not the brain power / intelligence that inhibit learning. It is due to the lack of growth mindset.
