SAFETY, HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF CHILDREN
All the staff members of Prodigy Vidyalay are obliged to undertake training for safety, health and wellness of children.
Child safety is of paramount importance at Prodigy Vidyalay and it is taken very seriously. Our staff members are required to be vigilant and report issues pertaining to the safety of children to the safeguarding mentor of the School. As per the school procedure, appropriate action is taken without any delay.
The School has constituted a 5-member (3 lady teachers and 2 girls) cell called “Girl Child and Women Empowerment Cell” for the special protection of girls and women. The cell organizes meetings fortnightly to discuss and identify issues faced by girls and women, if any, and resolve them on an urgent basis.
Prodigy Vidyalay has several other policies in place to support a safe environment for children to develop.
A list of first-aiders is displayed in the school office and on school notice boards around the buildings.
