SAFETY, HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF CHILDREN

All the staff members of Prodigy Vidyalay are obliged to undertake training for safety, health and wellness of children.

Child safety is the paramount importance of Prodigy Vidyalay and it takes this issue very seriously. Our staff members are required to be vigilant and report issues pertaining to the safety of children to the safeguarding mentor of the School. As per the procedure of the School appropriate action is taken in this regard without any delay.

The School has constituted a 5 member (03 lady teachers and 02 girls) cell called “Girl child and women empowerment cell” for the special protection of girls and women. Cell organizes meetings fortnightly to discuss and identify issues faced by the girls and women if any and resolve them on an urgent basis.

Prodigy Vidyalay has several other policies in place to help support a safe environment for children to develop.

A list of first-aiders is displayed in the school office and on school notice boards around the buildings.
